    • Teachers undergone following trainings.

    1) CBP for multisensory learning :-

    All teachers attended this training.  In this training teachers understood the importance of making the lessons experiential. As experiences are gathered by students through their sensory perception, it is necessary to add activities in lesson plan which will include use of maximum senses. This was an in house, activity-based training conducted by Principal of the school.

    2) CBP on types of learners:-

    All teachers attended the training. It is very necessary for a teacher to know and understand types of learners as well as to know each learner in the class. Hence the training was conducted by Principal of the school. In this teacher learned to identify the need of the students and accordingly plan for the lesson.

    3) CBP on emotional intelligence: –

    In this training the need and importance of having and developing emotional intelligence was elaborated. The mind set of a learner, how do we develop emotions, how to handle emotions for betterment of one self, these points were considered. This training sensitized the minds and hearts of teachers to handle delicate minds of students. All teachers attended it. It was conducted by Principal of the school.

    4) Meditation training by heartfulness institute: –

    It was conducted to help teachers deal with the stresses of the life. For three days, meditation was taught to all by the experts of heartfulness institute. Teachers understood the importance and way of doing meditation. They also expressed their feelings and solved their queries regarding meditation.

    5) The heartful teacher training: –

    These two days session was conducted by Mrs. Rakhi Arora, expert trainer from The Heartfulness institute. This training helped teachers learn, how to put their heart and soul in their work. How to understand the learner’s heart. How to connect heart of a teacher to the heart of a student. Teachers also planned experiential lessons in the guidance of the trainer.

    6) Training for AI: –

    Computer teachers attended online training for AI. They learned the need of including AI in syllabus and its utility for children in their higher education.

    7) Teachers teaching at foundational stage undergone many training sessions with Principal, to learn about curricular goals and learning outcome and plan lesson plans to be implemented in next session.

    2. Efforts for environmental education details: –

    1) For spreading message for banning use of plastic, Children were asked to collect old sarees from their houses. Almost 700 sarees were collected. These were then used to stitch carry bags for household purpose. This created job for some ladies who earned money for the same. These bags were distributed among children, visitors of various exhibition and appealed for using cloth bags and ban plastic bags. Science exhibition also had a selfie point to receive a cloth bag and spread a message for Say no to plastic.

    2) School has stopped using bouquet for any felicitation. Instead, we now use a planter for the same.

    2. Innovative Annual Day

    1) A very innovative annual day was planned this year. For standard 1st to 4th the theme was Krishna Leela, including three skits and many dances depicting major events from life of Lord Krishna.

    2) For standard 5th to 10th, the theme of annual day was based on Bharat’s freedom struggle. Under the title 1857 to 1947 ….. jara yaad karo kurbaani, all major events of Bharat’s freedom struggle were set for the students. More than 300 participants presented these 2 and a half hours drama which was full of action. The program started with Mangal Pandey’s act of revolt in 1857 and ended with the proclamation of Swatantra Bhart on 15th August 1947.

    3) A mega science exhibition was set on the theme science in day-to-day life for students of classes 5th to 10th. It was a big Vigyan Mela in which students tried to show simple models, machines, chemicals in day-to-day life. A competition for presentations on the same theme was conducted as intra school as well as inter school.

    5) Students of standard 8th and 9th prepared a hand written book on the concepts presented by participants. This book is kept in the library for reading.

    A grand model of a modern city depicting used of various scientific concepts was prepared by art teachers with the help of students.

    6) Children from standard 1st to 4th presented maths and science activities in Fun school (Gammat Shala). It was appreciated by all.

    7) Students of standard 5th to 8th presented Rope Mallakhamb pyramids during sports event. Creating a pyramid on rope was stunning. They did this traditional dress of Maharashtra.

    8) Students of class 6th and 7th presented Torch Drill in the sports event which left everyone filled with joy of watching dancing lights.

    2. PTA Activities: –

    PTA was active throughout the year. All participated in the meetings conducted and supported school to bring it to normalcy after covid period.

    1. Important SMC decisions: –

    A very important decision was taken by the committee to conduct any one mega event per year, either sports day or annual day. The year in which sports day will not be conducted will still have sports competitions and felicitations.
